Tuition Includes:
For All Grades: Most textbooks, most local field trips, school shirt, lab & studio fees, and PSAT and ERB testing.
For Grades 9-12: Advanced Placement courses (AP students are encouraged to purchase textbooks.)
For Grades 6-8: Partial cost of middle school overnight and class trips.
Tuition Does Not Include:
For All Grades: General school supplies, calculators, lunches, and bus fees. Some local and out-of-town field trips.
For Grade 12: Graduation expenses such as cap and gown, invitations, and class rings.
For Grades PK-12: Yearbook
For Grades 9-12: Advanced Placement exam fees and class trips.
For Grades PK-12: Individualized programs or special tutoring for enrichment or remedial purposes.
For Grade 8: Optional international trip
INFORMATION FOR 2010-2011
1. A Non-Refundable Advance Deposit of $850 is charged when enrolling, but is fully credited to tuition.
2. Tuition Refund Insurance is required for semi-annual and monthly tuition plans and is optional for annual payment plans. Please see separate brochure for details.
3. Application Fee (new students only) is $100. New students entering grades 1, 2, or 3 must have an educational evaluation conducted by a licensed educational psychologist. There is an extra charge for this procedure.
4. Tuition Payment Plans: Annual, semi-annual, and monthly options are available. Please specify your choice on the tuition contract. If you choose monthly, please be aware that the cost of interest and the charge for the required tuition refund insurance result in a very high cost of choosing that option. Please contact the Business Office at 274-0757 for futher information.
5. Before-School Care is available from 7:15-8:00 a.m. daily for a nominal fee of $1 per day, or only $100 per year. Lower school children cannot go to their classrooms until 8:00 a.m., so this service must be used if it is necessary for your child to arrive prior to 8:00.
6. After-School Care is available for students in grades PK-5 from 3-6:00 p.m. daily at the following rates: $1290 for the full school year for five days per week, $775 per school year for three days per week, and $9 daily (if space is available). After-school care is available for middle school students from 3:45-6:00 p.m. at the following rates: $1,025 per year for five days per week, $615 per year for three days per week, and $8 per day (if space is available).
7. Tuition: includes a usage fee for hardback textbooks and the cost of workbooks. Students who lose books will be charged a lost or damaged book fee based of the expected life of the book.
8. Lunches: Many students bring their own lunches, but there are also options for purhcasing lunches through outside vendors. These vary from year to year. Drink and snack machines are available.
9. Financial Aid: A limited amount of financial aid is available for students whose families demonstrate sufficient financial need. Please contact the business office for an application form and to discuss your situation.
10. Late Entry: Tuition for students entering school during the school year will be prorated from the date of admission and a 10% administrative fee will be added to that amount for those students entering after the first month of school.
11. Returned Check Fee: $25.00 will be charged for all checks returned by the bank.
Fees listed above are for the 2009-2010 school year and are subject to change in the future.
