FINAL EXAM MAY 28---10:00 AM

Global Studies I:   Final Exam Questions

Class, below you will find 10 exam questions.  During this review week you will have the task of producing an outline for each of these questions.  This outline really needs to be as thorough as possible.  You will only be given 5 of these questions on exam day and you will only be required to write 2 essays.  However, 20 points of the exam will be given for the 10 outlines.

 I’ve tried to simplify this:

10 = number of exam questions

10 = number of outlines you will need to complete this week

5 = number of questions on test

2 = number of essays you will write at final exam

20 = number of points on exam for turning in ten outlines

80 = points for two essays

It sounds like a lot, but you do have 13 days until the exam.

 Exam Questions:

  1.  Describe the events leading to the Neolithic agricultural revolution and the impact of this event.
  2.  Compare the cultural development of the Nile, Tigris-Euphrates, and Indus river valleys.

  4.  The Greeks, Mongols, and British have all had colonial empires in the Middle East, India and China.  What were the greatest influences of these empires on those cultures?
