For the week of  May 12, 2008

Para la semana del 12 de mayo de 2008

Kindergarten Spanish news

Kindergarten classes are learning new Spanish sayings like "Que pasa?" or "What’s happening?" and how to respond.  In addition, they are practicing their numbers, colors and Spanish sayings through games, art and books.

First grade Spanish news

First grade students have learned a new song about a cow who dresses up before going out to the pasture.  They all want to dress up as "la vaca Beatriz."

Second grade Spanish news

Second graders are making up sentences using different times and different verbs that they have learned this year.  It’s all coming together!

Third grade Spanish news

Third graders have learned how to play "I spy" in Spanish.  They are excited to use their sense of "vista" to try and guess the spiers object in the classroom.

Fourth grade Spanish news

Fourth graders have been working hard on their family projects (some even stay after school until 3:30).  The presentations start this Thursday and I think they’re ready to go!
