Weekend Review

Monday, September 15th, 2008

Varsity Soccer had a busy but successful weekend of conference play.  Friday the team hosted Shannon Forest and won 4-0.  The Wildcats then made a quick turn around traveling to Asheville School for a hot Saturday afternoon match.  The boys led 1-0 for most of the game until a shot by the Blues tied it up with less than 10 minutes to go in the game.  In the second half of overtime (overtime consists of two 10 minute halves played to completion) John Ruhl scored on a penalty kick ultimately giving the Wildcats the victory.

Varsity Volleyball also saw action on Saturday meeting High Point Christian Academy.  The girls lost 3-0 but played well against a team that is undefeated so far this season.

Middle School Boys Soccer won their game Friday afternoon against Shannon Forest 6-4.
