Davis Graham won yesterdays CAA cross-country meet with a time of 17:19. The Cats finished 3 out of 7 on the boys side while the Lady Cats finished 5 out of 6.

A huge day for the Cats this afternoon as they host the Blues of Asheville School. Our rivalry with Asheville School dates back to the early 1960’s and has always been a rivalry based upon sportmanship and competitiveness.

Our XC team heads over to Asheville Christian Academy this afternoon for a CAA match-up v. the Lions. Our MS’ers run at 4p followed by varsity team at 5p.

The Carolina Day School Cross-Country team participated in the NCISAA Preview Meet at McAlpine park in Charlotte. Davis Graham (4th out of 136 ) and Will Graham (33rd out of 136 ) to help lead our boys team to a 10th place finish - out of 21 teams.

On our womens side, we had a number of individual runners compete in the open division and in the junior varsity division. In the junir varsity  division, AZ Bozeman placed first, Brennan Harlan third, and Hannah Goss placed 5th.

The Cats travel to Charlotte to compete at one of the largest, and most important, NCISAA meets to date this season. The Cats will see teams from all over the state this afternoon at McAlpine Park. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the Cats to check out the competition for next months NCISAA Cross Country Championships.

The Cats competed at Owen HS XC Invitational yesterday in Black Mountain. Davis Graham led our boys team with a strong 3rd place (16:49) finish.  Our boys team finished 10th while our womens team finished 12th out of 13.

The varsity xc team heads to the Swannanoa Valley this afternoon to compete in the Owen Cross Country Invitational. The Cats are coming off of a solid performance at last weeks Buncombe County Championship. Look for another strong performance this afternoon on a realtively quick course.

The race will take place at Black Mountain Recreation Park which is located on Blue Ridge Road in Black Mountain.

The Cats are running! Head on over to Asheville School this afternoon to watch the Cats compete in the 2007 Buncombe County Championships.

Davis Graham ran a 16:38 at the Spartanburg Eye Opener on Saturday morning for his second win of the year. The Cats continue to run well and are pacing themselves for the 2007 State Championships.

The boys and girls XC team traveled to Spartanburg for a CAA conference meet at USC-Upstate. The girls, paced by Anzhela Bozeman’s fifth place finish (22:50), finished with 51 points - 2 points behind first place Asheville Christian Academy. The boys, led by Davis Graham (17:50) and Will Jordan (19:29), finished with 67 points - 34 points behind Asheville Christian Academy.

The Cats head down I-26 this afternoon for a CAA XC meet at Spartanburg Day. The Cats are coming off a great showing at the West Henderson Invitational - numerous PR’s and a win by Davis Graham. Today’s race will take place at USC-Spartanburg.
