Just received word from our cross-country team in Charlotte - great day for the Cats!

On the girls side, our Lady Cats finished 5th out of 22 teams and “ran an absolutely great race”, according to Coach Susan White.

On the boys side, Davis Graham earned his third consecutive NCISAA 2A State Championship Title by running a 16:35. In addition to Davis’ great run, Will Jordan turned in a very impressive 17:14. Both Davis and Will earned All-State Honors. In addition to great individual performances, the Cats - as a team - finished in second place out of 24 teams.

Fast Cats

Fast Cats! The Cats - both our boys and girls teams - competed at the CAA Cross-Country Championships on Saturday. On the boys side, the Cats ran their best race of the year and walked away with the 2007 CAA Conference Championship. On the girls side, our Lady Cats finished 3rd out of 6 teams for a fine showing.

The Cats head to Charlotte on Thursday for the NCISAA 2A Championships. The Championships will be held on Friday at McAlipne Park. Cats, any chance of a repeat performance?

CAA Cross-Country Championships Tomorrow

The Cats compete tomorrow in the CAA Cross-Country Championships. The Championships will be held at Asheville Christian Academy and will begin at 2pm. There is a $5 admission charge tomorrow afternoon.

Graham wins ACA XC Meet

Davis Graham won yesterdays CAA cross-country meet with a time of 17:19. The Cats finished 3 out of 7 on the boys side while the Lady Cats finished 5 out of 6.

Cats Host the Blues - XC Team to ACA

A huge day for the Cats this afternoon as they host the Blues of Asheville School. Our rivalry with Asheville School dates back to the early 1960’s and has always been a rivalry based upon sportmanship and competitiveness.

Our XC team heads over to Asheville Christian Academy this afternoon for a CAA match-up v. the Lions. Our MS’ers run at 4p followed by varsity team at 5p.

The Carolina Day School Cross-Country team participated in the NCISAA Preview Meet at McAlpine park in Charlotte. Davis Graham (4th out of 136 ) and Will Graham (33rd out of 136 ) to help lead our boys team to a 10th place finish - out of 21 teams.

On our womens side, we had a number of individual runners compete in the open division and in the junior varsity division. In the junir varsity  division, AZ Bozeman placed first, Brennan Harlan third, and Hannah Goss placed 5th.

XC Team to Charlotte

The Cats travel to Charlotte to compete at one of the largest, and most important, NCISAA meets to date this season. The Cats will see teams from all over the state this afternoon at McAlpine Park. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the Cats to check out the competition for next months NCISAA Cross Country Championships.
