Wildcats go down in the first round

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

The varsity soccer team hosted Village Christian Academy this afternoon at CDS.  #7 David Wood scored first and the Wildcats led 1-0.  Unfortunately the tides turned and the Knights answered with a goal of their own.  After that goal, the men just couldn’t regain their momentum and lost the game 6-1.  Congratulations to Village Christian who will face #1 St. David’s School on Tuesday.  We must also congratulate Coach Pat and the rest of the team on an incredible season.  They were runners up this year in the CAA Conference and earned the #8 seed in the state tournament.
