MS Volleyball at ImmaculataThursday, October 11th, 2007The Lady Cats travel to Hendersonville this afternoon to face Immaculata School. Today’s match will begin at 400p. Lady Cats v. Rabun GapWednesday, October 10th, 2007The visiting Eagles of Rabun Gap defeated the Lady Cats yesterday in the Nash Athletic Center by a score of 3-1. Prior to the match, the Lady Cats and the CDS community celebrated the accomplishments of 6 seniors on the squad. Thanks for your committment to the volleyball program and to Carolina Day School. Yesterday’s loss drops the Lady Cats to 1-6 in the conference and 1-7 overall for the year. Cats Host the Blues - XC Team to ACATuesday, October 2nd, 2007A huge day for the Cats this afternoon as they host the Blues of Asheville School. Our rivalry with Asheville School dates back to the early 1960’s and has always been a rivalry based upon sportmanship and competitiveness. Our XC team heads over to Asheville Christian Academy this afternoon for a CAA match-up v. the Lions. Our MS’ers run at 4p followed by varsity team at 5p. MS Volleyball Earns First VictoryTuesday, September 11th, 2007The MS Volleyball team traveled to Rabun Gap School yesterday afternoon and came away with a great victory. The 2-1 final score was well earned and bodes well for the future. The Lady Cats look to continue their winning ways today as they travel to face the always powerful ACA. Earlier this season, ACA defeated the Lady Cats by a score of 2-0. Yesterdays victory v. Rabun Gap brings the Lady Cats record to the .500 level at 1-1. MS Volleyball falls in openerWednesday, September 5th, 2007The MS volleyball team fell yesterday, 2-0, to the visiting Lions of ACA. The Cats hope to bounce back next Monday when they travel to Rabun Gap. While the Cats came up short yesterday, there were many bright spots and the team looks forward to what the future holds. |
