Beginning this week, student-athletes  will have the opportunity to evaluate their experinces during the recently completed winter athletic season. A brain-child of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, these evaluations serve as a valuable tool for our coaches, student-athletes, and administrators.

Team evaluations will be sent out this week to the parents of all or student-athletes that participated in our winter offerings. The evaluations are used by the athletic department and coaching staff in their end of season review(s) for each sport. We ask that all evaluations be returned to the athletic department as soon as possible. Please note that all evaluations should be anonymous. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Carolina Day School Athletic Department.

The MS boys and girls finished their regular season yesterday with two big wins over visiting Asheville Catholic.

The Cats compete in the Charlotte Neder Invitational tomorrow -  We’ll post brackets later today.

The Cats host Asheville Catholic this afternoon in middle school basketball action. The Lady Cats hit the court at 400pm with the boys team to follow.

Both the boys and girls teams are coming off of impressive wins against Rabun Gap on Tuesday. This will be the last regular season game of the year for the Cats and the last game before the Cats participate in the Charlotte Neder Invitational which will be held this Saturday at Carolina Day.

Results from yesterday’s “basketball” Super Tuesday:

MS Girls defeat Rabun Gap by a score of 14-10

MS Boys defeat Rabun Gap by a score of 40-30

JV Boys defeat Asheville Christian Academy by a score of 49-43

Varsity Girls lose to Asheville Christian Academy by a score of 45-35

Varsity Boys lose to Asheville Christian Academy by a score of 51-35

The varsity girls and boys travel to Greenville, SC, this afternoon to face the Crusaders of Shannon Forest. These are important CAA contests for both of our teams as they prepare for the CAA tournament which will be held Feb. 14/15/16 at Rabun Gap School in Rabun, GA.

Our women tip at 615pm this evening and our boys will follow at @730pm.

The Cats face Shannon Forest this afternoon in middle school basketball action. Both games will be played in the Nash Athletic Center with the girls tip scheduled for 4p and the boys to follow at @ 5p.
