Varsity Volleyball and JV Volleyball Earn First Victories

The Lady Cats hit the road as they traveled to Hendersonville Christian for varsity and junior varsity volleyball action.

The JV team played well and came away with the 2-1 victory to move their record to 1-0 overall and 0-0 in the conference.

The Varsity team played a strong match and took three straight from HCS.

Both the varity and jv volleyball teams travel to Asheville School this afternoon to face the Blues in CAA action - game times at 400p and 500p.

Volleyball Program Faces Hendersonville Christian today

The JV and Varsity Volleyball programs head to Hendersonville this afternoon to face Hendersonville Christian in non-conference volleyball action.

The JV team hits the court at 430p with the varsity team to follow at 530p.

Head on over to Hendersonville to cheer on the Cats!

The Lady Cats fell to the Knights of Providence Academy in varsity volleyball action by a score of 3-0. Here are the scores - game 1 (25-8), game 2 (25-13) and game 3 (25-20). If there was another game and more time - we were just warming up!

In JV action, the Lady Cats fell to the Knights by a score of 2-0.

Lady Cats v. Rabun Gap

The visiting Eagles of Rabun Gap defeated the Lady Cats yesterday in the Nash Athletic Center by a score of 3-1. Prior to the match, the Lady Cats and the CDS community celebrated the accomplishments of 6 seniors on the squad. Thanks for your committment to the volleyball program and to Carolina Day School.

Yesterday’s loss drops the Lady Cats to 1-6 in the conference and 1-7 overall for the year.

Crusaders too much for Cats

The Crusaders of Shannon Forest defeated the Lady Cats yesterday in CAA volleyball action by a score of 3-0. The Crusaders jumped on the Lady Cats early and by the time the Cats regained their legs, it was too late. In JV action, the Lady Cats fell by a score of 2-0.

The Cats record now stands at 1-5 in the conference and 1-6 overall.
