Eagles Sweep Cats

The Eagles of Rabun Gap took two of three against the Cats yesterday evening in the Nash Athletic Center.

In an early JV contest, the Eagles executed well on the offensive end, while the Cats failed to capitalize on their open looks - a hard fought game and well played by both teams.

In the second match-up of the evening, the league leading Eagles, used their strength inside to secure their victory.

In the final game of the triple-header, the Eagles used a variety of defenses to stop the Cats.

The Varsity Boys host Carolina Christian this evening at 6pm.

Greenies Take 2 of 3 From Cats

The Greenies and Cats battled on Friday night in a triple-header of basketball action. In early action, the MS team held on for a 43-34 victory with a solid ball control offense in the closing moments. The JV game went a little differently for the Cats - the Greenies took control early and never looked back. The Greenie varsity team lived up to their powerhouse ranking and  handled the Cats by a score 92-58.

The Wildcats of Carolina Day School face the Greenies of Christ School this afternoon(weather permitting*) for a triple-header of basketball action. Earlier this season the Cats took two of three from the Greenies with our middle school and junior varsity teams earning the wins.

So, if you’re looking for something to do this afternoon, and would like to see some very solid basketball,  come on over to the Nash Athletic Center!

The JV boys continued to develop as a team and their performance against Spartanburg was solid and exceptional. The Cats played well on both ends of the court against a bigger Griffins squad. The Cats win by a score of 60-46.
