Cats Split With Rabun Gap in MS Basketball

The Cats split with Rabun Gap yesterday afternoon in MS basketball action. On the girls side, the Cats fell behind early, but battled back to take the lead heading into halftime. A cold shooting 3rd quarter let the Eagles back into the game and from this point on, it was back and fourth. With only seconds remaining, the Eagles intercepted a pass and hit a jumper for the win. A fantastic and thrilling game for all!

On the boys side, the Cats - one of the top MS teams in WNC - jumped out to an early lead and cruised to victory. The Cats continue to use a very effective inside to outside offensive strategy that causes their opponents to make defensive choices. These choices usually allow open looks by the Cats, and combined with a tenacious defensive strategy, cause many a team to struggle.

The Cats - both boys and girls - travel to face Asheville Catholic on Wednesday with the girls tip scheduled for 400pm. See ya’ there and Go, Cats!
