I’m sorry to have delayed sending this and for the brevity of this note. Someone I am close to is terminally ill, and I am primary caregiver. I just don’t have time to say much.

I am still as interested in spirituality as some of you will remember me being, with the minor matter of having radically changed religion. I made an about face after college toward eastern philosophy. West coast living has been very good to me and has exposed me to some wonderful spiritual teachers, all Western Hindus or Buddhists. The change in my life was dramatic at the time and has stuck now for 35 years.

This is the center of my life. I’m sorry I can’t celebrate, and I also have to skip the other more mundane details of life. It is just that the timing is bad.

I hope you have a great reunion.
