CDS offers 16 different sports, fielding 28 teams.

Admissions Checklist

Phase I

  • Information packet reviewed by family.
  • Visit and tour by family scheduled through the Admissions Office.
    (Call 828-274-0757)
  • Print out an application to mail in or fax to the Admissions Office at 828-274-0756.

Phase II

  • Application returned with application fee.
  • Classroom visit and testing scheduled through the Admissions Office.
  • Official school transcript sent to Carolina Day School.
  • Confidential teacher recommendations sent to Admissions Office by current teacher.
  • Admissions interview scheduled through the Admissions Office (Grades 9-12).
  • Admissions Committee evaluates candidate.

in early February of each year.

Phase III

Upon acceptance to Carolina Day School, an enrollment packet will be sent with a letter of acceptance including:

  • Enrollment contract
  • Registration form
  • Other forms depending on grade level

When your deposit and contract are received by the school, your child's place will be secured in the appropriate class.
