Hi All, Photoshop seems to have reagined its sanity. Let's see if these reach everybody. Took a drive to Barrow today around lunch and saw some interesting dinner choices. Vica, a young woman from easter Russia, and Phil, a marine research chemist, and I were driving around to see if anyone had brought in seals. Phil needs to take tissue samples for toxicology studies -- more about that later. more later ... dora

The ducks were hanging on the back door of an old school bus. After a few days they will be made into duck soup. On top of the bus, and not in this picture, was a caribou (dead) that will be cut and put out to air dry.
Muktuk on the doorstep is a common sight in Barrow. These pieces were about 2-3 feet square.
