Curriculum Learn more about Carolina Day School's academic and co-curricular programs. Marking SystemIn the Middle and Upper Schools, letter grades are given in all areas except art, physical education, and word processing, which are graded as Pass/Fail.
Annual testing includes ERB-CTP III and the ERB Writing Assessment for grades 3-8; PSAT for grades 9-11. Graduation RequirementsA total of 20 academic credits are required for graduation. These credits are distributed by department as follows: 4 English In addition, physical education, public speaking, CPR, and computer literacy are required. These courses do not earn academic credits toward graduation but are noted on transcripts. All students are encouraged to participate in community service each year.
